Emperor Qin or Emperor Qin Shi Huang was the first emperor or ruler during the Qin era. Qin (pronounced Chin) united china during the warring states period and formed china's largest kingdom. Over the next 200 years the events he put in place helped shape our knowledge of ancient china. Qin was born in 259 B.C in china proper. Qin was born into the Han Kingdom and the Zhao clan, he soon became king of the Zheng clan. Qin untied most of China proper by using the harsh teaching in the legalistic beliefs. He was able to form a kingdom that was larger then any other ancient Chinese empire. Qin created an organized coinage and other strict regulations that advanced the Chinese culture extremely quickly. Qin ordered the construction of a massive tomb with over 1000 clay soldiers to be his army in the after life. These relics helped give modern historians a base for ancient Chinese history. Qin died at age 49 in 210 B.C. The events he set in motion include the construction of the great wall of china and many other famous ancient Chinese constructs.
